What type of chocolate is used?
The finest Belgium chocolate. It is specially formulated to
cover whatever is put under it. Most popular are milk
chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate.
Does the chocolate contain nuts?
We cannot
guarantee the chocolate is free from traces of nuts.
How much space do I need?
The
chocolate fountain and display require a sturdy table or
stand of 4 feet in diameter on a level surface.
Can the chocolate
fountain be used outside?
The chocolate fountain must be sheltered from rain as it is
powered electrically and strong winds will prevent the
chocolate from flowing evenly.
How long does a chocolate fountain run?
Typically a normal hire is for 2 hours, however, additional
time may be added at $40 per 30 minutes.
What can you dip in it?
We have a large range of fruits and
confectionary dips available. See our full list of
dipping foods
for details. You simply tell us
which dipping items you would like from our list and we
bring them!
Do you provide an attendant?
We believe that it is very important to have 2
fountain attendants
with every chocolate fountain rental to provide assistance
to your guests and ensure that the fountain is maintained
and the dippers are refreshed. |
What do I need to
provide?
We will require a sturdy, level table to allow the chocolate
to flow properly. We recommend you provide the table linens
to coordinate with your event's color scheme. A 120
volt grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the
fountain location is also needed.
We will require approximately one hour for set-up.
How far will you travel?
We travel all over Arizona. Contact us for the
applicable travel fee if outside the Phoenix metropolitan
area.

How
do I cut a Wedding Cake?
This
guide shows how to cut popular shaped wedding
tiers into pieces approximately 1 in. x 2 in. by
two layers high (about 4 in.). Even if a larger
serving size is desired, the order of cutting is
still the same. The first step in cutting is to
remove the top tier, and then begin the cutting
with the 2nd tier followed by the 3rd, 4th and
so on. The top tier is usually saved for the
first anniversary, so it is not calculated into
the serving amount.
|
 |
|
Round Tiers:
Move in two inches from the tier's outer
edge; cut a circle and then slice 1 in.
pieces within the circle. Now move in
another 2 in., cut another circle, slice
1 in. pieces and so on until the tier is
completely cut. The center core of each
tier and the small top tier can be cut
into 3rds, 4ths, and 6ths, depending on
size. |
|
 |
|
Square
Tiers:
Move in 2 in. from the outer edge and
cut across. Then slice 1 in. pieces of
cake. Now move in another 2 in. and
slice again until the entire tier is
cut. |

How do I freeze our anniversary cake?
Freezing the top tier of your wedding cake is a
wonderful tradition. You can defrost it and
share it for dessert on your first anniversary.
Freeze the cake for about 20 minutes to set the
frosting, then wrap it in several layers of
plastic, I prefer Press and Seal.. Follow by
wrapping with at least 2 layers of heavy duty
aluminum foil. The more protection you give the
cake, the less chance of freezer taste or
freezer burn. You may place the wrapped cake in
a storage container to protect it from being
damaged by other items in the freezer, and
thenwrap the box with several more layers of
plastic wrap or Press and
seal, making sure the box is sealed completely,
then place it in a clean trash bag. That's it.
Place it in the freezer and you will have a
wonderful first anniversary cake next year.
(There is a lot of wrapping, but it's worth it.)
Note: If your cake had custard filling, freezing
it is not recommended because the filling could
separate.

|
How
do I thaw our cake?
To thaw your cake,
just remove the cake from the freezer and
immediately remove all the plastic wrap and thaw
in the refrigerator for 48 hours, then place at
room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
Or,
You can skip the thawing in the refrigerator for
48 hours, and thaw at room temperature until
completely thawed.
Either way, your cake will be as beautiful and
delicious as the day of your wedding!

How do I get more servings from the cake?
• Add a larger base tier.
• Increase the size of each tier. For example -
change 14, 10, and 6 in. tiers to 16, 12, and 8
in.
• Add satellite cakes. This gives a lavish
effect on the reception table.
• A bonus - the satellite cakes are easy to
serve. •
• Have extra cake in the kitchen for extra
servings.
Sheet cakes are most economical and convenient
to serve, and guests will not be able to tell
the difference.

|
What if I would like a larger cake?
Many brides want
the look of a big wedding cake, yet they do not
need that many servings for their size
reception. Place the tiers on pillars, or
separate elevated cake stands, give the illusion
of a larger or taller cake. Also presenting your
cake on a plateau adds another tier height to
your cake. |
